Renascent Films – Creative & Independent Expression

Andrea and Michael Zomber established Renascent Films in 1998. Renascent Films distributed La Cucaracha, a Roger Ebert three star feature film as well as producing the well-received documentary, Soul of the Samurai and the critically acclaimed one woman show, Deep Sea Diving. Additionally, Renascent Films has supported other independent producers with technical expertise and financing.

In 1999, Renascent Films released La Cucaracha, directed by Jack Perez, starring Eric Roberts, Joaquim de Almeida, and Victor Rivers. The film won best picture at the Austin Film Festival and was widely praised by critics.
